"Lotocki injected me with death. He is a person who should be behind bars. It made me sick, I have kidney failure. Today I cannot call him a murderer until Justice takes action." These are the words of a few weeks ago of Mariano Caprarola, artistic producer, fashion critic and panelist of "La jaula de las locas", who died this Thursday at the Azcuénaga Medical Center, where he was hospitalized since last Monday.
Caprarola, 49, had been dragging various health problems for some time, related to an aesthetic intervention carried out by Aníbal Lotocki in 2010. Those words contextualized a relapse that Silvina Luna had had, hospitalized since June for kidney failure – which led to other complications that aggravated her condition – in the Italian Hospital, and also attended and operated on by Lotocki himself, sentenced by Justice to 4 years in prison and 5 years of disqualification from practicing medicine.
The best-known judicial case against Lotocki is the one initiated by Luna after suffering methacrylate poisoning, which placed him in the buttocks in 2011, which "due to the current health situation that was mediatized hurried to Justice was issued," they say in the doctor's environment. But there are other cases as serious but less resonant as that of the model Stefanía Xipolitakis, her former partner Pamela Sosa and the image consultant and businesswoman Gabriela Trenchi.

Also Veronica Ojeda, Maradona's ex, fell into the clutches of Lotocki. "I went for a lipo because after having Dieguito Fernando I had been overweight and a friend from the environment recommended it to me ... The issue is that he added things in other places that I had not asked for," he denounced on television.
The record of the missionary Lotocki does not end there: at the beginning of June, the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 60 prosecuted him without preventive detention asthe author of the "simple homicide with eventual intent" of the patient Rodolfo Christian Zárate (50) on April 16, 2021, after complications from a scheduled surgical intervention. "What he did to my partner was of a level of perversion that has no explanation. My partner went to do a dermolipectomy, to remove fat, he entered the perfect operating room and they returned it to me in a drawer the next day," Romina Sicoli tells Clarín.
"I remember Lotocki telling him 'I'm going to leave you spotless, you're going to discharge the next day', which could not happen with the amount of fat they extracted. I will never forget: I saw Christian alive and weighed 92 kilos. When I went to see him at the morgue, he had the torso of a 14-year-old boy. This offender operated on him in a clinic in Caballito that was not authorized for that type of intervention," Sicoli says.
Aníbal Lotocki defends himself: "I am convinced of what I did, it is not proven that the substances I introduced have to do with the diseases of the patients."
The Trenchi case
"If it were not for the fact that she fights like a lioness, my wife would be dead, because what she is suffering has no name and this discomfort has a responsible: Aníbal Lotocki," says Jorge Demirdjián, clinician and surgeon, husband of Gabriela Trenchi, the businesswoman who in 2015 turned to Lotocki "just to put some tension threads to lift my buttocks.. I just asked and paid for that and he, without my authorization, placed other substances on my legs that caused an explosive reaction that are having its consequences. Once the surgery was over, I was bloodied and bandaged from waist to toe. I didn't understand anything."
Trenchi has been in bed for three days, held hostage by excruciating pain. "I take 18 pills a day so I can stand up at home, my doctor husband is witnessing. What happens is that my health situation led to the emotional and psychological part, and I had to start a psychiatric treatment for which I was prescribed with more medications to relieve the panic attacks, paranoia and depression that has trapped me. It's hard for me to go to work and I don't want anything to do with my social life, I'm abandoned."
"I take 18 pills a day and I don't give more, I feel worse and worse, with more pain," says Trenchi, who has been in bed for three days.
Dermidjián accompanies her for a good part of the day and takes her to the different specialists who, thanks to her experience, have easy access. "I am worried about her condition, because she is very sore in her legs, she has constant cramps and she screams that startle me. Maybe she is a warrior, a lioness, but for some time she has been another woman and today she seems a disabled person. Her diagnosis is nephropathy, like Silvina Luna's, with the difference that Gabriela does not have calcium, her bones are taken by osteoporosis and she is about to break."
The doctor who lives with Trenchi speaks without anesthesia. "My wife is strong, but her head does not slow down for a second and what happens with Silvina Luna, what happened with Christian Zárate and this sad news of what happened with Mariano (Caprarola), she is very affected and her condition deteriorates. " She believes she will die when that son of a bitch is behind bars. Lotocki is really a striking case, isn't it? A doctor who applied a technique that always failed and continued to bet on that same technique."
Trenchi speaks to Clarín from his bed. He apologizes for the complaints, "I can't find a position. My legs hurt and I also have kidney stitches and an intestinal obstruction from so much crap that I get into the body. I have to have a video colonoscopy and a kidney ultrasound these days, so I can't go on, this is not life. This scourge was stolen from me... I was a woman who worked in my boutique every day, had a social life, traveled and now I feel like a doormat for this criminal."

Trenchi says he can't believe "the protection this guy has. First it was (Sergio) Berni and now it is the Kirchnerist environment, which manages it. If it had not been for the delicate situation that Silvina (Luna) lives, Justice would not have done anything. But the seriousness of his condition pressured the Justice to condemn him and remove his registration. He's a psychopath, a guy who's sick in the head and did a lot of damage. In another country I would have been in jail for a long time."
He recalls that when he went to Lotocki, in 2015, "I had a good concept, but then I changed radically. He didn't kill me miraculously. I had surgery in a clinic that was in Crámer and Rivera Indarte in Belgrano, which was disabled, and of course I did not know it. He disposed of my body without my authorization and did not inoculate me with methacrylate, but used a powder that I do not remember his name mixed with liquid silicone, which directly poisoned me. Thanks to that intervention, my life sucks. At this rate, I do the math, and I feel that the next one is me. I know I'm going to die."
What they say in Lotocki's environment
"It's very rare what is happening and what the media provokes, which does not blame them, but people consume them and dictate. This gentleman (Mariano) Caprarola died and the reasons that caused his death are still not known but, it does not matter, Aníbal Lotocki is blamed. He is to blame for everything. I saw the news and what is clear to me is that the press is not interested in the truth, but in the tenement," says a person very close to the condemned doctor.

The person consulted, who has known Lotocki for many years, tells Clarín that "journalism is not interested in reporting with the truth. I feel that the Lotocki topic is touched on with a lot of misinformation, nobody says that the diseases of the affected people have nothing to do with the product installed by Lotocki. And it is proven by the Justice, there were medical boards and experts who proved that they have no relationship, but the emphasis continues to be placed on those interventions causing the diseases and it is not like that ... People get sick, we all get sick."
About the ex-girlfriend, Pamela Sosa, who was a victim of malpractice by Lotocki himself, whom he denounced, this source close to the plastic surgeon said: "Pamela defended him for a long time until the sentimental relationship ended. The doctor separated, put together a new partner and stopped passing her some money, which caused her to radically change her mind."
On Lotocki's current situation, he slipped: "He is very bad, he is furious but at the same time very fallen, because he does not understand why he is the demon of the film. He is finding out through his contacts what happened to Caprarola, but he is convinced that the outcome has nothing to do with the intervention he made to her. Lotocki does not make a mea culpa, he does not apologize, because he has no reason to do so. He did not use any substance that was not approved by ANMAT. The whole truth is going to be known."
