A strange pandemic is hitting the world, which sees some humans mutate into animal creatures. François (Romain Duris), a father somewhat overwhelmed by the situation, goes in search of his wife, accompanied by Emile, their 16-year-old son. Helped in this quest by Julia, a gendarme played by Adèle Exarchopoulos, François and his son will see their existence totally turned upside down, while the world is populated by chimerical creatures of a new kind.

Presented in the Un Certain Regard selection, this fantastic drama caused a sensation last May on the Croisette, receiving a very enthusiastic reception from critics present at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. Thomas Cailley, director who won the award ofCombatants in 2014, signs here a second feature film at the crossroads of genres, between adventure story, magnetic auteur film and teen movie.
The striking trailer is punctuated by an epic musical composition. We see a race in the cornfields (the film was partly shot in the Lot et Garonne), scenes of panic typical of apocalypse movies. In addition to Romain Duris, the cast includes Adèle Exarchopoulos, and the revelation Paul Kircher (Le Lycéen by Christophe Honoré). Release scheduled for October 4.
