The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the country's air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian drone in the Belgorod region last night, and this morning two unmanned drones. This was reported by Tass.
"At about 23.00 Moscow time (22:00 in Italy) on September 1, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on the territory of the Russian Federation with an unmanned aircraft was stopped. The Ukrainian UAV was intercepted on the territory of the Belgorod region," the ministry said in a statement.
Subsequently, "on the morning of September 2, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unmanned aircraft on Russian territory was prevented," it said in a statement. Two Ukrainian unmanned aircraft were intercepted over the territory of the Belgorod region."
