"Essential life-saving goods including fuel, food and water must be allowed into Gaza. We need swift and unimpeded humanitarian access now." This was said by the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres. "UN staff are working 24 hours a day to support the people of Gaza and deeply regret that some of my colleagues have already paid the highest price," he added, noting that some 24,220 Palestinians are now taking refuge in 000 UNRWA facilities across Gaza.
