Hamas militants were provided with detailed maps of cities and military bases they wanted to hit when they entered Israel to attack. The documents registered in Arabic were retrieved from the sites of the attack and are now being examined by the Israeli authorities. This was reported by the WallStreet Journal, pointing out that the papers indicate that from the beginning there were not only military installations in the crosshairs but also civilians. The documents also offer the opportunity to assess Hamas' intelligence and the degree of planning of the attack.
