Placido Migliorino, the MIT inspector - already a consultant for some investigations on the Morandi bridge - appointed by the Venice Public Prosecutor's Office for the technical expertise on the guardrail, will begin operational activities on October 25th. "The mandate - explains Migliorino to ANSA - mainly concerns the operation carried out by the lateral protection barriers, their conservation and that of the structure that supported them, to clarify the dynamics of the accident". The expert will have 120 days to deliver his report. Migliorino has already carried out a "completely informal" inspection of the site of the disaster today.
