A notice at Netto is causing a stir. The discounter prohibits its customers from taking shopping carts out of the store.
Munich – Occasionally, it happens that you want to do a bulk purchase, then stand in front of the supermarket and simply can't find a shopping cart. In such a case, however, it is usually enough to simply wait a few minutes and there is another one and the shopping can start. At Netto, however, lost shopping carts seem to be a big problem. In a branch of the discounter, a note has now appeared that prohibits customers from taking the carts out of the store.
A user posted a photo of this notice on the Internet platform Reddit, which led to a heated debate. Just recently, there was a disgusting scandal at Netto, where a customer discovered worms in breakfast salmon. In the case of shopping carts, however, the discounter formulates its position quite clearly. Among other things, the note reads: "Please do not take any more shopping carts from the store. If you need to buy plenty of water, please make sure you bring a handcart."

Above all, the rather mediocre spelling seems to bother most users on the Internet. Among other things, it writes: "20 obvious errors in such a short text? Sentence structure not included. Respect. I don't want to know where the others were during German lessons."
However, some Reddit users definitely understand the content of the poster. For example, a customer of the supermarket posted: "I would be interested to know why it always happens at Netto that shopping carts are taken away. Ours hasn't had any for two weeks." According to another user who replied to the question, this is a problem for all discounters. Lidl and Aldi are apparently not spared from the thefts either.

If a user on Reddit is to be believed, the note has been hanging in this Netto branch for some time.
