The octobrata is about to end. The anticyclone that gave us a long period of sunshine and temperatures higher than the seasonal average will soon be undermined by a cyclone coming from the Atlantic Ocean that will bring bad weather and cold. This is what Andrea Garbinato, editorial manager of the www.iLMeteo.it website, announced.
Today and tomorrow we will still enjoy a stable situation with basically sunny skies and warm and pleasant weather. Starting from the weekend, the African anticyclone will be forced to gradually leave the country. If on Saturday the weather will be rather sunny apart from more cloudiness over the whole North and occasional rain in the Alps, on Sunday the entry of cooler currents from the northeastern quadrants will worsen the weather in the Northeast where thunderstorms will break out during the afternoon. At the same time, a cyclone will arrive from the Atlantic Ocean ready to cause an intense wave of bad weather. The vortex will be fed by cooler air and driven by the winds of Libeccio. The combination of factors will cause both a drop in temperatures and the arrival of rains.
From a thermal point of view, temperatures will already decrease significantly in the North from Monday 16 with maximum values that will not rise above 16-17 ° C. The Centre-South will also see a significant drop in maximum values, but from Tuesday 17.
In detail - Thursday 12. In the north: sunny except for clouds in Liguria and the Venetian coasts and fog in the Northeast. In the middle: prevailing sun. In the south: good weather and pleasant warm weather.
- Friday 13. In the north: possible fog in the Northeast, but cloudy skies. In the middle: cloudy sky and warm weather. In the south: sunny.
- Saturday 14. In the north: clouds rising, some rain in the mountains, thunderstorms in Friuli during the night. In the middle: clear to partly cloudy skies. In the south: mostly sunny.
Trend: Sunday worsens in the Northeast and then on Marche and Tuscany, next week a bit on all of Italy.
