- GAZA, OCTOBER 13 - Many thousands of people left their homes in Gaza City precipitously this morning and are heading south following the Israeli army's warning that the north of the Strip will become a zone ofmilitary operations.
Local sources report that those who do not have means of transport are proceeding on foot with some luggage in hand.
It is a march of at least 10 kilometers, undertaken by entire families. A source at al-Quds Hospital told ANSA that doctors and patients will remain in the danger zone, in the absence of ambulances and adequate solutions for the hospitalization of the most seriously ill.
