A journalist was killed in the attack in southern Lebanon. He's Issam Abdallah, a Lebanese photojournalist who worked for Reuters. This was reported by Al Manar, the Hezbollah TV. Three other reporters were injured: two are Lebanese journalists from Al Jazeera and one who works for AFP.
The moments immediately following Israel's killing of a Lebanese Reuters cameraman and the serious wounding of another Lebanese reporter along the Blue Line demarcation between the two countries were captured live by an amateur video circulating on Lebanese and Pan-Arab social media and TV. The half-charred and dismembered half bust of cameraman Issam Abdallah is filmed on the ground, while a few meters away her colleague Carmen Joukhadar screams, lying on the ground: "I can't see my legs anymore! I can't see my legs anymore!" The shocking footage shows the Lebanese journalist's legs being pulped at ankle.
