The actress, comedian and singer had already participated in the TF1 musical reality show in 2015. She had failed to make it to the final.

This is called a call of the foot. Invited to the show "On Refait La Télé" on RTL late Saturday morning, the actress and singer Camille Lellouche showed a clear desire to soon join the jury of "The Voice", the musical TV show of TF1.

The comedian was first asked about her time as a contestant on the show in 2015. "It was kind of the last chance for me," admits Camille Lellouche, who confides that she would probably have stopped playing music if she hadn't been selected by the jury at the time.

"I said to myself: if they don't hear me, because it's the audience after all, well, it's useless. I'm tired, too sad. The misfortune was more than the passion," she says. Before finishing as a semi-finalist in this edition of "The Voice", she had been rejected twice by the jury of the "Nouvelle Star".

Camille Lellouche is now well established in the music industry. His track "Mais je t'aime", in collaboration with Grand Corps Malade, received the Victoire de la musique for original song of the year in 2021. The clip has been viewed more than 130 million times on YouTube.

"It's really my second family"

Eight years after her appearance on the show as a contestant, Camille Lellouche wants to make her comeback as a jury. "That's what I'm waiting for. It's my dream, I tell them all the time: what are you waiting for? I got a Victoire de la Musique after all," she argues.

"Of course we're thinking about it," the show's production reportedly replied to his calls. "It's important, it's a place that has been very strong for me, it's really my second family," says Camille Lellouche. So it's likely to see her in a big red armchair in the years to come.
