Aurelio De Rose, Neapolitan writer and critic - he was born in Naples in 1939 - who had shone a spotlight on Neapolitan art and language, died yesterday in Rome.
Art critic, passionate about the history and ancient and modern artistic culture of his city, he has collaborated with various newspapers and literary magazines with interventions on the history of costume and art criticism. Among the winners of the Pontano Prize (poetry section), 1977 and First Prize (silloge) Memorial Gennaro Sparagna, 2007.

He is one of the authors of the text Metrò-Art-Visiting Naples with the Metro. Dieffe Comunicazioni, Naples, 2003. He is present in various anthologies and texts, including: La parola negata (report on poetry in Naples), by Mario M.
