In the past week since the war began following the surprise murderous attack launched by Hamas, the IDF has apparently conducted the largest mobilization of reserves to date, and many have reported to various units throughout the country. Among the many recruits were celebs from the local swamp, who did not hesitate when called to the flag.
SingerRaviv Kinner, whose regular service he did as a combat soldier in the Egoz unit and was also drafted into the reserves, uploaded a photo to his Instagram page with a reinforcing message from the field: "Seconds become minutes, minutes become hours, hours become days, days become weeks. And I'm here to say: It will take as long as it takes, we are here, strong, unstoppable."
I go with the staff here. With all the equipment on us. Then a friend tells me to raise your head for a moment. Look at what a beautiful country we have. That's what we're fighting for. For all this goodness. And suddenly it permeated me deeply. Suddenly I understood the meaning all over again. How beautiful you are, the Land of Israel. And how beautiful the people here are. I am amazed time and time again by this power. So some more. Another second. Another minute. Another hour. Another day. Another week. Until we return to living quietly in our country. Until then. Raise your head. Look around. And say thank you for all this people. Because the people of Israel are alive and stronger than ever."
