With the recipe for deep-fried guacamole balls, finger food becomes a blockbuster. And the creamy, crispy TV snack will be the main actor of the movie night.

Let's go on a new avocado adventure. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside. Holy Guacamole! That sounds like a Mexican blockbuster from the kitchen. The guacamole balls consist of a classic guacamole, which is breaded with tortilla chips and fried in hot oil to become a crispy finger food in a class of its own. This makes them a cinematic snack for the next TV evening.

This is how easy it is to prepare the deep-fried guacamole balls:

You only need a few ingredients for the fried guacamole balls:

  • For the guacamole:
  • 3 avocados
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • chili pepper, chopped and seasoned to taste
  • 50 g red onions, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • a little pepper
  • For the breading:
  • 80 g tortilla chips, coarsely chopped
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • In addition:
  • Frying oil
  • Lime wedges

This is how easy it is to prepare:

  • For the guacamole: Remove the pit of the avocados and mash the flesh with a fork. Add lime juice, garlic, chilli, red onions, salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Using an ice cream scoop, shape into small balls. Lay them out on a baking tray lined with baking paper and put them in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • For the breading: Place the tortilla chips and eggs in a bowl. Dip the guacamole balls into the tortilla chips, then wet with the egg and add to the bowl with the tortilla chips again until everything is well coated.
  • Fry the finished guacamole balls on all sides in frying oil for five minutes until golden.
  • Garnish with lime wedges and serve.
  • Enjoy your meal!
