UNRWA, the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, has denounced that people calling themselves Hamas have "seized gasoline and medical equipment" from its base in Gaza City. "Our staff were forced to evacuate their headquarters in Gaza City with a few hours' notice during the night of Friday, October 13.
UNRWA has not had access to the compound since then and has had no further details on the removal of the assets. UNRWA's fuel and other material are stored for strictly humanitarian purposes and any other use is strongly condemned."
