He is accused of having abused an eight-year-old girl in a small room of a tourist village where he worked as an animator, in the Capo Vaticano area and is being investigated on the loose by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Vibo Valentia with the provisional charge of sexual acts on a minor. The facts date back to the morning of August 24 and yesterday the little girl, who this summer was on vacation in Calabria with her family, originally from Bologna, was heard in a protected form in an evidentiary incident hearing, requested by the prosecutor Corrado Caputo and ordered by the investigating magistrate, to reconstruct the facts. The victim's parents are assisted by lawyers Maria Marone of Bologna and Giuseppe Aloi of the Court of Vibo Valentia: the family members have filed a complaint.
According to what has been reconstructed, the suspect, a 38-year-old of Sicilian origin, would have lured the girl with an excuse, convincing her to follow him to a small locker room, where he would have molested her. When the little girl realized what had happened, she alerted her family and the carabinieri were called.
The Public Prosecutor's Office then ordered the acquisition of images from the village's cameras and some witnesses, managers and other employees of the facility were heard. Yesterday the child was heard, with the support of a psychologist and supported by the parents' lawyers, and retraced what happened. In the meantime, the animator would be fired.
