"Everything must be done to make every competition of the next Games take place on national territory, so if you can use the bobsleigh track used for the Turin Olympics, I think you have to do it." This was said by Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, commenting on the possibility of holding the bobsleigh competition of the upcoming Milan-Cortina games in Piedmont, during his visit in support of Adriano Galliani's candidacy for the Senate in Limbiate (Monza). "I spoke with the president of the Piedmont Region who is ready to make investments," he added, "it has never happened that races have been held outside the national territory, except in Melbourne in '56, I am rooting for Piedmont." Then, smiling, Tajani concluded: "Milan-Cortina, Milan-Cortina-Piedmont".
