In recent days, there has been a wave of expressions of support from celebs overseas in Israel due to the harsh scenes from the surprise brutal attack on the country by the Hamas terror organization. In the face of these, there are also those who expressed reservations about the support and joined the barricade condemning Israel's response. Now, it's singerAlicia Keyswho has managed to provoke the wrath of fans.
According to TMZ, Keyes posted Monday night to her Instagram account that many considered anti-Semitic and sympathetic to the Hamas attack. The singer posted a photo of herself wearing a green jacket and wrote: "Question - what would you do if you weren't afraid of anything? Tell me your truth... I set my eyes on paragliding." As part of the brutal attack, paragliders were used by terrorists to infiltrate the country at the outbreak of hostilities. Following this, many followers were quick to condemn the publication and even accused Keyes of demonstrating support for terrorism that claimed innocent lives.
After the post received tons of angry comments, Keyes decided to remove the post and later posted another in which she tried to clarify her statement: "The post I shared earlier had absolutely nothing to do with the devastating loss of innocent lives. My heart is broken... I pray for peace and support."
