In 2023, eye color plays a very important role in how we are considered "well-dressed." This is confirmed by a study conducted by researchers at the University of St. Andrews. As part of the study, the experts surveyed nearly 200 people to determine which colours best suited them based on their skin, hair and pupil tones. The result is clear: published in the journal Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts, the study shows that eye color is the main factor to take into account when choosing the perfect outfit. This is enough to pull the rug out from under the feet of stylists and image consultants who, for decades, have often stressed that skin tone is the essential element. But it's "irrelevant," says Professor David Perrett.
