Parker Fishel and Mark Davidson, curators of the center, don't like the term "museum" very much, preferring instead the term "study center." Together, they are publishing an editorial work entitled Mixing Up the Medicine on Thursday 26 October. In other words, an improved catalogue, full of exceptional documents, texts and photos. Perhaps the definitive book on Dylan, one of the most fascinating American artists of our time, to whom millions of pages have already been dedicated.
"Once the archive arrived in Tulsa in 2017, we invited writers, artists, and musicians to speak. They came, each chose an object to which they could dedicate a piece of writing. But the book's design was delayed by the pandemic. This allowed us to take the time to design the spaces of the centre with the greatest care.
