"It's not a renovation. It's a real metamorphosis! To present his new "ship", Vincent Campredon, the director of the Musée de la Marine, lets loose. Ageing, to say the least, like its neighbour the Musée de l'Homme, the establishment located in the Palais de Chaillot has just undergone a transformation project that lasted six years. While the historical collections are still there, all the architecture and scenography have been redesigned, digital and immersive devices added, to make the place a "museum of the 21st century".
