It's a little sentence that sounds like an explosion. In concert at the Accor Arena in Paris on Sunday, November 12, Madonna delivered a surprising message, announcing her wish to "move to Normandy". The star then revealed the reasons for this new craze: "Thank you for your welcome! City of love, city of light, city with the best butter," before adding that she wanted to "milk cows just to have their butter."

Paris-Normandy
Was Madonna really talking about the Normandy region or did she confuse it with Ile-de-France and a fortiori Paris? For some elected officials, the message was crystal clear. Hervé Morin, President of the Normandy Region, jumped at the opportunity: "We recognise fine gourmets", before continuing: "We will be happy to welcome you to help you discover all the excellence of our gastronomy." We could also read on the website of the city of Caen a message of welcome: "We are lining up to welcome the Madonna to Caen and give her a taste of Normandy gastronomy".
That was all it took for many Internet users to imagine Madonna in the Normandy bocage, in boots and oilskins. His little sentence had the merit of highlighting this region of 3 million inhabitants as well as its gastronomy. As the star expressed it in one of the tracks of Madame X, an album released in 2020 when she had just moved to Lisbon: "I don't search, I find".
