The fight for the Italian lightweight title, currently vacant, between the local boxer Giuseppe 'Bullet' Carafa and the 44-year-old Lazio 'veteran' Pasquale 'El Puma' Di Silvio, a professional since 2007 and who has already been Italian champion on three occasions, is scheduled for Saturday in the ring of the Pala G. Ventura in Lecce (live on DAZN). Carafa, on the other hand, was national champion of the lower category, super featherweight, in 2019 and now attempts the assault on his second title.
The match, which has the patronage of the FPI, is part of the program of a meeting that has on the bill not only boxing but also matches of various world-class combat sports of K1 and Muay Thai.
