After Laure Manaudou, Squeezie, Franck Gastambide or the singer Dadju in season 1, McFly and Carlito, Jenifer, comedians Fadily Camara and Hakim Jemili in season 2, it's time for four new teams of happy runaways for the third salvo of episodes of "Celebrity Hunted", released this Friday on Prime Video. On the starting line, we find Ramzy Bedia (already present in the first year) and his sister Melha. YouTubers Just Riadh and Boris Becker. Influencer Léna Situations accompanied by her two best friends. And the actor Michaël Youn supported by his eternal companion Vincent Desagnat.
In this life-size version, throughout France, of the famous game of the gendarme and the thief, personalities of show business have a mission: succeed for six days to pass through the cracks of the nets set by a sacred team of hunters composed of former high-ranking cops, hackers or other security specialists able to exploit video surveillance cameras and telephone terminals to get their hands on them.
Two new additions this season
Impressive from a technical point of view, the system is getting tougher this season with two new features. The game turns into a race: only the first to reach a fallback base will be crowned the winners. And investigators can now count on the support of the public: every passerby can "swing" a famous fugitive by sending a photo or video to Prime Video's social networks.
So to thwart the vigilance of these hyper-well-informed trackers, each duo (or trio) had time to prepare their escape. Some choose to flee in a moving truck to Le Havre. The others ran to the airport to reach Perpignan. Alternative options: run away in a boat on the Seine or outrun the investigators by hiding in a... Ghost train.
All this in a mixture of stress and laughter for the candidates. In this little game, the prize for the funniest duo goes to Michaël Youn and Vincent Desagnat. "What we want above all is to be the most fun," warns the former, while being "joyful and inventive," says the latter.

Mission accomplished: their way of covering their tracks by inviting friends to dress up, like them, as painters equipped with a full suit is a very funny appetizer. Jokingly, the ex-troublemakers of the "Morning Show" even take out their famous megaphone to taunt the investigators by posting hilarious videos on the networks. Tasty.
Very funny, too, the Léna Situations team brings a breath of fresh air to the program by assuming 100% an offbeat side of fun losers more about their looks than their escape strategy. "We know we're not the crunchiest chips in the pack... But, on the other hand, our outfits are prepared."
Calmer, but fully into the game - "we're not very Pierre de Coubertin" - Ramzy and Melha Bedia distil a few punchlines of which the two comedians have the secret. While Just Riadh and Boris Becker appear a bit like the weak links of the show, at least in the first episodes viewed, struggling to settle their characters into the mechanics of the game.
In the end, if "Celebrity Hunted" does not manage to reconstitute the surprise effect of the first two seasons, the whole remains very effective and pleasant to watch.
