The Viola join Napoli on 27 in the standings, while the Venetians, who wasted a penalty with Djuricic, remain penultimate with 11 points. In Udine, the home team squandered a two-goal lead (Lucca and Pereira) and a possible first home win of the season: left with ten men due to Payero's expulsion shortly after the 2-0 goal, they then caused two penalties converted by Berardi. The Neroverdi rise to 16 points, Udinese remain on 13.
