TEL AVIV - Hamas has released a new video of three hostages being held in Gaza. This was spread by the channels of the Islamic faction on Telegram and the news was picked up by Haaretz. One of the three is called - according to Israeli media - Yoram Metzger, while another is Haim Peri, the third is Amiram Cooper. All of them are elderly people. The title of the video chosen by Hamas reads: 'Do not abandon me in old age' and is a quote from a biblical saying.
Israel's reaction
"The video released today by Hamas is a criminal terrorist video," said military spokesman Daniel Hagari. "It testifies to Hamas' cruelty to very old, innocent civilians in need of treatment. The world must do its utmost to get medicine and make sure of the health of the hostages." Addressing the three Israelis in the video, Hagari added: ''Haim, Yoram, Amiram, I hope you're listening. Please know that we do everything we can to get you back safely. Some of your relatives are already at home. We will not rest - he concluded - until you come back''.
