The cat also wants to be made pretty. However, the house cat of a TikTok user is hardly recognizable after his "makeover".
Long-haired cats are real beauties, but due to their fur, they require more care from the owner than other velvet paws. If the hair becomes too matted, it can happen, for example, that the animal has to be completely sheared. It is unclear whether this was the reason for the new "hairstyle" of a Persian cat, which is currently making the rounds on the video platform TikTok. However, the lost fur provides a lot to talk about – and smile – among users.
Persian cat with new "look" on TikTok
"Benny got a haircut today," TikTok user "gomeznotselena" captioned a short clip showing off her cat. You can see a silver Persian cat, whose long-haired fur has been completely sheared, especially around the belly. The fur on the tail, paws, face and neck has remained intact.

TikTok users are reminded of fantasy dragons
The nine-second video has been viewed over 81 million times on TikTok. The "makeover" evokes memories of a well-known fantasy creature for some users. Maybe you'll notice the similarity, too? For example, the comments say, "That's the dragon from the neverending story." Or, "Kind of reminds me of Fuchur." In fact, with his long, bright body and the hair on his tail and face, Benny bears some resemblance to the lucky dragon from the classic children's book.
