The image emanates a sensuality that reminds more than one cinephile of the character of Vivan Ward (Pretty Woman, 1990). We're talking about a photo shared by the British edition of Vogue magazine, which, for its February issue, offers its cover to Julia Roberts. In one of the images from the photoshoot, the 56-year-old actress poses lying on the floor of a chic living room, wearing a long red Valentino dress. The characteristic of the garment? A lunge on the side, which reveals Julia Roberts' interminable oiled left leg.

To accompany this dress, Julia Roberts wears Chopard jewelry and black pumps from the Italian brand Sergio Rossi. "Over the course of many wonderful hours, filled with laughter [...] photographer Lachlan Bailey and I went to work with a clear brief in our minds: to encapsulate Julia's magic," Edward Enninful, former editor-in-chief of British Vogue and now global consultant at Condé Nast, wrote on Instagram about the shoot. Result? A joyful, festive and sexy fashion series. In one photo, Julia Roberts sits on the marble sink in a bathroom at the luxury Claridge's hotel, smiling beamingly. In another, she appears in a 1970s style dressed in a Tom Ford velvet suit.

Interviewed by Richard Curtis
This fashion shoot illustrates a long interview with Julia Roberts conducted by none other than director Richard Curtis (Love at First Sight at Nothing Hill, Love Actually). "Not too long ago, I did my whole family tree with the brilliant Dr. Henry Gates," Julia Roberts wrote in the pages of the fashion monthly. She continued, "If you've seen his show Finding Your Roots, it's great and I'm obsessed with it. One of the things he does at the very end is tell you who they found out you're DNA cousins with." She then reveals that she is the DNA cousin of American journalist and feminist activist Gloria Steinem. "And I just want everyone to know," she said.
