This is the comment, on the eve of the presidential elections in Taipei, by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, Zhang Xiaogang, on the provision of F16V aircraft on the island by the United States, including upgrades and new jets.
"The authorities of the Democratic Progressive Party" are acting for their own selfish interests, "but they will only push Taiwan into the danger of war."
