Brussels sprouts are a vegetable that is in season during the cold season from September to March. It is very healthy and contains many vitamins and minerals, including vitamin C, vitamin K and folic acid.   • 300 g Brussels sprouts
  • 300 g potatoes

  • 50 ml oil

  • 50 g tomato paste
  • 600 ml vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • Crème fraîche, to taste

It's easy to prepare, thanks to these step-by-step instructions:

  • Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Peel and dice the potatoes. Finely chop the onions and garlic.
  • In a large saucepan, heat the oil and sear the minced meat together with the onions for five minutes.
  • Stir in the tomato paste and sauté briefly.
  • Add potatoes, Brussels sprouts, garlic along with the vegetable broth. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and cover the pot and simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables are cooked. Stir occasionally.
  • Divide the farmer's pot into bowls and serve garnished with crème fraîche and parsley if desired. Enjoy your meal!
