The actor plays Carmy, a culinary prodigy who takes over his deceased brother's neighborhood sandwich shop. Over the course of the two seasons — a third is being prepared — he transformed the place despite the debts and reluctance of the brigade. To embody this tense role, the actor learned gestures from chefs and was inspired by Al Pacino in Panic in Needle Park, one of his bedside films. A job that paid off: he won the Golden Globe for actor in a comedy series in 2023 and the Golden Globe for Best Publisher in 2024. Since that first award, everything has changed.
