Inter appear unstoppable and extend their lead to +5 on Juventus ahead of the Bianconeri's clash with Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri won 5-1 at Monza in a match that appeared to be difficult for Simone Inzaghi's team on the eve of the match.
The Brianzas held their own for the first part of the race. MaLautaro Martinez and Calhanoglu are on the day and score two braces that leave their opponents no chance. Pessina's goal was illusory and momentarily shortened the lead to 3-1 for Monza. At the end of the second half, Thuram made it 5-1.
In the standings, Inter rise to 51 points, Monza remain on 25.
Lautaro Martinez is increasingly leading the scoring charts with 18 goals in 18 appearances.
