Today the New Lancia Ypsilon was surprised during the filming of the advertising campaign in the streets of Milan. From the photo it is immediately evident the strong reference of the rear to the Lancia Stratos.
The car will be officially presented in February through the New Lancia Ypsilon Limited Edition Cassina, 100% BEV, which will be available, according to what has already been officially announced, in 1906 numbered and certified units, in homage to the year of birth of the brand.
Cassina, one of Italy's leading interior designers, had already collaborated on the concept and now the partnership is even more consolidated on a production car.
The New Ypsilon marks the first step in the brand's electrification journey, which is proceeding at a rapid pace, as Lancia CEO Luca Napolitano recently stated in recent interviews. In fact, from 2026 only 100% electric cars will be launched.
The introduction of the New Lancia Ypsilon represents, according to further statements made by Napolitano, the first concrete step on the path of the brand's rebirth, which includes the introduction of three new cars, one every two years, to make Lancia a respected brand in the European premium market.
