  • 500 g mascarpone
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 5 tsp cocoa powder
  • Some cocoa powder for sprinkling

The chocolaty cheesecake is so easy to conjure up

  • To prepare the crispy cookie base, first melt the butter in a small saucepan. Meanwhile, the chocolate chip cookies can be rolled over in a sealable freezer bag with a conventional rolling pin. Add the finely ground cookie crumbs to the melted butter. Then press the mixture evenly on the bottom of a springform pan lined with baking paper. Place the cookie base and springform pan in the fridge for 30 minutes or alternatively in the freezer for about ten minutes.
  • For the mascarpone cream, melt 100 grams of dark chocolate in a water bath and let it cool down a bit without it setting again. Meanwhile, beat the mascarpone and cream cheese with the powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a large mixing bowl until creamy. Carefully fold in the liquid dark chocolate. The chocolate mascarpone cream is then smoothed out on the hardened biscuit base.
  • Place the chocolate cake in the fridge for at least two more hours. It can then be carefully removed from the springform pan with a sharp knife and served sprinkled with a little cocoa powder. Enjoy your meal!
  • If the chocolate cheesecake doesn't taste chocolaty enough for you, you can slice another 100-gram bar of dark chocolate into fine chocolate shavings after resting in the fridge and pour it over the thin layer of cocoa powder.
