If you're in the mood for some creative chips, there are some delicious options to try. For example, you can make zucchini chips with garlic and parmesan. Alternatively, you can try pretzel chips with a creamy cheese dip, creating a perfect balance between salty and creamy. Pita chips are also a great choice, crunchy and versatile, perfect for a wide variety of dips or as a snack in between.

These are the ingredients you need for homemade vegetable chips:

  • 1 beetroot
  • 1 parsnip
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper
  • Spices of choice (e.g. paprika powder, chili powder, curry powder)

The preparation of the vegetable chips is very simple:

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C top/bottom heat.
  • Clean, wash, peel and cut the beetroot, parsnip and carrot into wafer-thin slices or slice.
  • Mix olive oil in a bowl with salt, pepper and spices.
  • Add the vegetable slices to the bowl, mix well and spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper, taking care not to overlap.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until crispy. Remove the vegetable chips from the oven and allow to cool. Enjoy your meal!
