In a maximum of ten minutes, you can conjure up a delicious and warming dessert – with ingredients that you probably have at home anyway. The cinnamon roll is soft and fluffy on the inside. 30 g flour (about 2 tbsp)
25 g sugar (about 1 heaped tbsp)
0.25 tsp baking powder
40 ml milk (about 3 tbsp)
15 ml oil (about 1.5 tbsp)
0.25 tsp vanilla extract

Cinnamon Swirl:

1 tbsp melted butter
15 g brown sugar (about 0.5 tbsp)
0.5 tsp cinnamon

Icing:

10 g powdered sugar ((about 1 heaped tbsp)
0.5 tsp milk

It only takes a few minutes to prepare the simple cinnamon roll from the microwave:

For the dough: Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, oil and vanilla extract in a small bowl to form a homogeneous dough.

For the cinnamon swirl: Mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.

In a large cup or small gratin bowl, layer two tablespoons of batter alternately with a tablespoon of cinnamon swirl until all is used up. Using a wooden skewer, draw a pattern through the mixture.

Place the cup in the microwave and bake at 1000 watts (or highest setting) for about 1:10 minutes.

Drizzle with a frosting of powdered sugar and milk and enjoy warm.
