The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards finally get underway tonight (Monday through Tuesday) after being postponed from its usual September date due to strikes by actors and writers.

The ceremony, hosted by comedian and Emmy-nominated actor Anthony Anderson ("Black Like That"), will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on yes TV Drama and STING+.

The series with the most nominations at the ceremony is "Descendants," whose final season received no fewer than 14 nominations (27 in total if you also count the nominations at last week's Emmy Awards for the Arts). It is followed by "The White Lotus" (with 12 nominations), "Nerves" (9 nominations) and "Ted Lasso" (8 nominations).

Quite a few of the nominees will hope to win the same categories they won last week, including Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Adebiri from "The Bear," Stephen Yeon and Ellie Wong from "Nerves," Kieran Culkin and Sarah Snook from "Descendants," "Elizabeth Debicki" from "The Crown," and more.
