Majority meeting, in the Senate, on the reform of differentiated autonomy that arrives in the hall of Palazzo Madama for examination in the first reading. A confrontation wanted - according to several parliamentary sources - to take stock of the parliamentary process of the bill, the historic flagship of the League, which is intertwined with the reform of the premiership pushed by FdI and now under discussion in committee. No amendments to Autonomy have been proposed by Lega and Forza Italia, only two by Fratelli d'Italia and one of the rapporteurs, while there are over 300 from the opposition. In addition to the leaders of the centre-right parliamentary groups, the meeting was attended by the Minister for Autonomies, Roberto Calderoli, the rapporteurs of the measure (from Lega and FdI) and the president of the Constitutional Affairs Committee, Alberto Balboni, who examined the text.
The two proposed amendments by Fratelli d'Italia to the reform of differentiated autonomy remain on the table and the government will give a favorable opinion: this was said by the Minister for Autonomies, Roberto Calderoli, at the end of the majority summit on the bill wanted by the Northern League minister. And he added: "We are at a stage of the path of differentiated autonomy, there is also the premiership being examined by the Constitutional Affairs Committee, so it seems to me that the train of reforms is going".
