During his program "The Patriots" on Monday, news anchor Yinon Magal expressed outrage over the placement of the Buddha statue at the Nova nature party, which took place near Kibbutz Reim during the surprise murderous attack carried out by the Hamas terrorist organization in southern settlements. His controversial remarks quickly sparked outrage and criticism from many online, and he decided to respond to it with a tweet he posted on the social network X.

"It's been long enough for me to be able to say what has been sitting on my heart for a long time," Magal said in a broadcast at the start of his remarks, which caused a stir. "I, and I say this secretly, was very disturbed by the statue of the Buddha there, that people were dancing there with a statue of Buddha. Sorry to say that, but it really bothered me."
Magal's remarks caused a great storm. "A crazy and dangerous man," wrote Channel 12 News reporter Michal Activist. "I think you should take a minute and file a complaint with the broadcasting authority," she suggested to her followers.

"A statue of Buddha bothers him, but a chain of loyalty to Netanyahu is fun", "Okay, so earthquakes because of gays and cruel massacre because of Buddha?", "People of the Sixth of October, discussions of the 6th of October, heart of the 6th of October. Yuck," attacked others on social network X.
I didn't understand what the left feed was so moved by that I said it bothered me that people in Nova were dancing with a statue of Buddha.
Yes.
I am Jewish. Dos. Faithful. Religiosity.
And a statue of Buddha symbolizes idolatry for me.
And it bothers me.
Simple.
Am I allowed?

Magal decided not to ignore the many ricochets and addressed the storm he caused in a tweet he posted on his X account. "I didn't understand why the left feed was so moved by saying that it bothered me that people in Nova were dancing with a statue of Buddha. Yes, I am Jewish, dos, faithful, religious. And a statue of Buddha symbolizes idolatry for me and it bothers me. Simple. May I?" he asked rhetorically.
