The perfect breakfast from a mason jar: The Swiss breakfast classic is quick and easy to mix the night before and store in the fridge overnight.
In addition to fresh rolls, sweet Danish pastries, various jams and sumptuous cheese and sausage platters, a classic Bircher muesli is also part of almost every major breakfast buffet. Originally, the breakfast classic comes from Switzerland. Maximilian Oskar Bircher-Benner, a Swiss physician and nutritional reformer, served the apple diet dish for dinner in his sanatorium. Nowadays, however, Bircher muesli is usually enjoyed as a tasty oat breakfast.

That's how easy it is to prepare the classic Bircher muesli
The oatmeal should ideally be soaked in the milk overnight. This allows them to pull through nicely. Steps two and three of the recipe are then done fresh the following morning before serving. If you don't prepare the Bircher muesli until the morning, tender oatmeal is recommended.
