The bride designed her own engagement ring, but stayed true to the constant advice she gives her clients - "The moment you get engaged should be a surprise, the ring shouldn't be like this!" The main dress she walked with (and starred with) was a custom-made design from the brand "Casa Mestansa", led by dress designer Carlotta Salvador Calero. The main dress she walked with (and starred with) was a custom-made design from the brand "Casa Mestansa", led by dress designer Carlotta Salvador Calero. The two have known each other for several years, after Octavia made the dress designer's engagement ring and here the wheel turns and the latter responds with a different kind of bridal gesture.

It's a multi-piece design, the central piece - a clean maxi dress in a straight cut but not tight, a straight neckline and a simple strap closure that led to an X on the back of the dress. The peculiarity of the rear is the closure of refined emerald buttons designed by the bride. Following her arms, two puffy sleeves were added, starting from the elbow area and adding to the drama of the final total look, plus Hinoma that emerged from an elegant skull hairstyle that left behind a dignified and romantic silk trail.

"I wanted something unique and adapted, something old world and feminine yet functional – I wanted to dance," says the jewelry designer. "After a few conversations with Carlota, she suggested three amazing options and I chose one of them. It wasn't easy, all the models were truly iconic."

Matching jewelry was added to the look, the most prominent of which was a pair of emerald hanging earrings and at the end a round pearl as a complementary set to the back decorations, of course in its design, after carefully and thoughtfully selected with the rest of the dress details - "Like my jewelry, the materials, production and finishes were so important. I love textures and originally imagined a linen texture, we ended up purchasing several different dupy silk fabrics and choosing one of them. The buttons on the dress (more than 100) worked perfectly fine. To me, details like this are so important – I felt like my dress told a story."

Despite all the hassle over the festive weekend, the walk to the groom-to-be was modest in a short ceremony that ended after 25 minutes (and without bridesmaids), after which the guests were released back to the cocktail party. Despite the conventional choice of a gardeny wedding dress with the gushing hinoma effect, the groom closed the story with a dark green tuxedo and bow suit by Ralph Lauren that matched the colors of the chosen church's landscape, plus a very tiny heart on golden buttons, one of which had their initials imprinted on them.

For the preliminary meal, Octavia opted for aVivienne Westwooddress with the effect of a raised skirt and, again, jewelry in her design. At the reception went for a more trendy and fuzzy choice again from Casa Mestansa. A one-shouldered mini dress that extended to a scarf that wrapped around her neck and fell gently from the back to a height after the knees. Sunglasses, gold hoop earrings and spritz shoos sealed the prefabricated corner of the event with great success – alongside guests who arrived in a light dress code of colorful dresses and traditional Bermuda trousers and long socks handed out in the welcome baskets.
