Ingredients for the crispy oatmeal cookies

For about 25 to 30 cookies

  • 200 g rolled oats
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 3 tsp cinnamon
  • 125 g butter (room temperature)
  • 1 egg

That's how easy and quick the sweet pastry is to prepare

  • While the oven preheats to 180 °C / top and bottom heat, beat the room-temperature butter cubes with the egg, a pinch of salt, sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  • Now add the cinnamon and your oatmeal to the bowl and knead everything into a homogeneous dough. It is best to work with your hands so as not to damage the structure of the oatmeal with the hand mixer.
  • Then use two teaspoons to place heaps of dough well distributed on the baking sheets lined with baking paper. Place the cookies in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Then remove and allow to cool sufficiently or enjoy warm. Enjoy your meal!
