The scene propelled fans of the series into the heart of the law firm of Ally McBeal and her fellow lawyers. The cast of the cult series from the late 1990s relaunched into a choreography on the occasion of the 75th Emmy ceremony on the night of January 15 to 16.
To "My Everything" by their indispensable Barry White, Calista Flockhart, Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol, and Gil Bellows performed a choreography as they were used to regularly for five seasons between 1997 and 2002. The actors sketched their dance steps in a setting reminiscent of the toilets of the famous Boston law firm, where many judicial and sentimental twists took place.
Calista Flockhart, after whom the series is named, appears in his thoughts, facing the bathroom mirror. A toilet is flushed, and Peter MacNicol emerges from a cabin, joined by the others. The fifty-year-olds' choreography is interrupted by a voice-over: "Calista, give this damn prize." The actress was then accompanied to the microphone by her colleagues who left the stage dancing.
