 Rapper yes, but in moderation.

Il Tre, the stage name of Guido Senia, born in 1997 in Santa Maria delle Mole (Rome), started from there, from the urban world but the path he undertook took him much further.

"I come from that, but I have evolved and I no longer just rap.

Defining myself only as a rapper is limiting, I also like pop and my musical influences are many, I listen to everything from Zucchero to Tiziano Ferro, passing through Francesco Guccini and Edoardo Bennato (and for the cover evening he will have Fabrizio Moro at his side, ed.). I consider myself a 360 degree artist. The important thing is to make music", he says in his colorful Roman accent.

Pop and rap, therefore, which mix and brought him to the stage of the Sanremo festival, competing with the song Fragili which uses extrabeat for the first time at the Ariston, a rap technique that allows you to go to double the speed relative to the base.

Starting from scratch, without what he considers "shortcuts", i.e. talent, with his apprenticeship he is now one of the rappers most loved by young people and with only two albums under his belt he has conquered the Italian charts positioning both of his works - ALI and Invisibili - at the top of the Fimi/Gfk charts (and also obtaining four Platinum and two Gold records).

In his pieces, Il Tre (3 like his date of birth, 3 September, and 3 like his family unit, with mum and dad who will be in the audience at the Ariston) brings his fragility, his fears, or how he calls him "my inner demons".

And he did it too with the Sanremo song.

"I wanted to talk about the dark period I went through recently after the end of a relationship, to say that everyone is fragile in their own way and that we need to know how to live with our mistakes and apologize. I take responsibility for not having behaved well, maybe from past traumas, and losing something precious.

Putting it down in black and white in a song helped me."

The fragility of Generation Z, which many artists have in common.

Like Mr. Rain, for example, who is also competing.

"We spoke and I'm happy he's there too. But there I will find many friends from Geolier to Alfa, to La Sad to whom I would like to be introduced."

To calm his anxieties, Il Tre prefers to rely on "the sea in winter with long walks with the dog, it's therapeutic. And sport rather than chemistry ("I don't use drugs, I don't smoke, I'm a teetotaler"). ".

Aware that "80% of the festival audience doesn't know me", the goal will be to sing well and "do what I know how to do. I don't want anyone to think that I am without art or role. The biggest fear? Sleeping little and the moment they tell me: you're next."

After all, the festival has wanted it for a long time,

"It may never happen again, and even if there is anxiety it would be stupid not to enjoy it. It represents both a point of arrival, but at the same time a starting point for a new chapter that opens. A circle that closes after the first two albums."

The first step of the new path is the date at the Palazzo dello Spor in Rome on November 9th.

"I've never jumped the gun, I've grown gradually, even though the turning point came with Cracovia pt. 3 and with Te lo promio, and this is the right moment for the sports hall too. Music is a passion that has become a job".
