The Italian economy stagnated at the end of 2023 with a GDP that rose by 0.7% in the year and, also for 2024, growth will be equal to +0.6%.

The economic bulletin of the Bank of Italy underlines, as already anticipated in recent days by the governor Fabio Panetta, the phase of slowdown with growth, explains the report, "which was almost nil at the end of 2023", reducing the October estimates.


    In 2024, "economic activity is expected to gradually strengthen over the course of this year, supported by the recovery in disposable income and foreign demand."


   The end of the superbonus would weigh on investments.
