TF 1’s “Star Academy” has found its first finalist.
This Saturday evening, Axel and Julien faced each other in the first semi-final, before giving way to Pierre and Helena next week.
At the end of prime time around the two young men, the public finally decided to qualify Julien.
This is the final duel of the first semi-finalists!

However, for the teachers, the evening was not the easiest.
Because the two semi-finalists faced each other in several duels.
First a solo performance: “Formidable” by Stromae for Julien, more in imitation, “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston for Axel, not always very accurate.
But in this game, with the exception of Michael Goldman for whom “when you succeed in Whitney Houston, there is always a little extra”, everyone favored Julien.
A few minutes later, everyone was able to share the stage with an artist.
And if the first winner touched the director right in the heart alongside Marc Lavoine, the duo between Axel and the revelation Zaho de Sagazan was a hit with the other teachers.
Same thing for the confrontation in a ring, with a setting not at all busy between heads of wild animals and flames at all costs.
And if Queen's “The Show Must Go On” is particularly complex, Axel is also the one who came out the best, according to Pierre de Brauer and Michael Goldman.
The return of Olivia Ruiz
In this evening of duels, the semi-finalists had to deal with improvisation.
Both had a few minutes to prepare to cover “If only I could miss him” by Calogero, the title chosen by Axel.
And it was not easy, neither for them, nor for the viewers given the many false notes heard.
“Both performances had a few small flaws…” even admitted Michael Goldman, regretting that the two boys were unable to adapt it to their tone.
And even though it was complex, Julien received the most votes.
This prime time also saw several returns.
Already former candidates from the promotion since Candice and Margot came to surprise their friends, just like Lénie, eliminated the previous week.
If she had not been able to return to the set after her departure, she came to perform “I do not forget you” by Céline Dion for the public and her former comrades.

And then there was a returnee, who had not set foot in the “Star Academy” for 22 years: Olivia Ruiz.
