The Contes en ballade festival offers tales for ten days, sometimes with music to amaze children.

In “Bouts de moi”, Cécile Bergame invites children aged 1 to 3 to play mirror games which tell with mischief and humor how, end by end, the child understands that he is himself, singular, perfect, unique.

At 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., at the Temps des Cerises space.

For little ones too, “Sleeping” will tell stories of sleeping, cats roaming and mice playing.

Masterpieces of black and white photography at the BNF

This is the last day to enjoy “Black & White: An Aesthetic of Photography,” an exhibition that brings together 300 black and white masterpieces from the collections of the National Library of France.

The big names in French and international photography like Nadar, Man Ray, Ansel Adams, Willy Ronis, Diane Arbus, Robert Frank, William Klein and Valérie Belin span 150 years of history.

The exhibition addresses the aesthetic angle and the modes of image creation.

Plastic and graphic effects of contrasts, play of shadows and lights.

The selected authors are black and white specialists.

Hip-hop in Neuilly-Plaisance

The H Quality hip-hop dance choreographic competition is orchestrated by one of the pioneers of urban dance in France, Claise M'Passi.

For this 10th edition, the day expects more than 200 dancers, in 2 against 2 battles, in new style hip-hop, house dance and popping styles.

The winners of each category will win 2,024 euros each.

Candidates will also have to dance improv to music chosen at random by a DJ, in groups of 2 to 8 artists.

At the Neuilly-Plaisance village hall (Seine-Saint-Denis), 11, avenue du Maréchal-Foch, from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Single price: 10 euros.

The “Felines” exhibition continues at the Jardin des Plantes

Lions, cheetahs, or more simply cats... Felines are as fascinating as ever.

As proof: the exhibition dedicated to them in the Jardin des Plantes is extended, after attracting 260,000 visitors.

In a very immersive setting, “Felines” invites you to discover the 38 existing species on Earth, through more than 100 stuffed animals but also works of art on loan from museums.

The opportunity to unravel some of the mysteries of the domestic cat.
