A customer discovered a sign at a supermarket branch in North Rhine-Westphalia.
It clearly read: “No entry for dogs, scooters, rollerblades”.
A user posted a snapshot of the sign on Reddit.
When looking at the sign in question, it was less the quoted sentence that caught the eye, but rather the associated prohibition symbols.
It was not possible to say with certainty whether it was a real sign or a photomontage.

While the dog and roller skates were unsurprisingly found in a crossed out circle under the sentence in question, the picture of a well-known singer was unexpected at this point: HP Baxxter was also pictured there.
At first glance, the frontman of the band Scooter is probably not welcome in the supermarket.
The snapshot was probably taken in the entrance area of the Siegen branch of the Mix Markt supermarket chain.
According to information on the company website, this is a “supermarket for Russian products, Polish foods and Romanian specialties”.

He apparently remembered an old commercial with the Scooter frontman from 2015. The clip ended with HP Baxxter standing on a cash register in an Edeka branch to belt out his greatest hits.

Other users responded to the Reddit post by quoting Scooter hits.
“Always hardcore!” one joked – based on the song “Always Hardcore”.
Another user wanted to know: “How much does the fish cost?” Scooters were successful in the charts a few years ago with “How much is the fish?”
Fittingly, this song also played a central role in the aforementioned Edeka commercial with HP Baxxter.
With significantly less humor, another user commented on the prohibition sign around the scooter frontman.
“Dirty music, it’s banned from my house too,” he wrote unequivocally.
But back to the reason for the supposed supermarket ban for HP Baxxter and Scooter: Even if the explanation that the singer once misbehaved there may seem obvious - misbehavior by the well-known musician is almost certainly not the reason for the scooter ban .
Rather, the Mix Markt in Siegen may have resorted to a pun when it created its prohibition sign.
