Many dogs love splashing around in the water.

But in winter this fun can quickly become dangerous.

Bob, a black four-legged friend, was lucky in misfortune and was rescued in time by the fire department.

Even when there is ice and snow, the black four-legged friend still insists on taking a jump into the cool water.

But after his most recent swim, the brittle ice prevented him from climbing out of the cold water on his own.

So the four-legged friend was stuck in the pond in Davis County after his walk.

The need was great and so the fire department finally arrived.
