Tension among the fans before Salernitana-Genoa
Tension in Salerno before the kick-off of Salernitana-Genoa, underway at the Arechi stadium.
Upon the arrival of the Ligurian supporters, the two fans risked contact.
According to an initial reconstruction carried out by the police, a group of fans from Campania tried to enter the gap occupied by Genoa supporters.
The police, deployed in riot gear, managed to oppose it.
This resulted in smoke bombs and paper bombs being thrown, one of which hit a State Police car which caught fire.
Some problems also occurred when the Ligurian fans arrived at the station and during the bus journey to the Arechi stadium.
Problems on the field too.
After Retegui's goal, which sealed the draw for the Ligurians, various objects rained down from the stands towards the rossoblù players intent on celebrating the goal.
Retegui and Strootman were hit, others dangerously grazed: some of these blunt objects were acquired by the referee Orsato.
